CHIFFON

Lightweight. Delicate.

Chiffon is light, sheer, and the most delicate fabric in our collection. It rewards a gentle hand, so handwashing is the safest way to care for your hijab.

1. Handwash in cool water
   Fill a basin with cool water and a small amount of mild detergent. Swirl the hijab gently for a minute or two. Never scrub or rub.
2. Rinse gently
   Rinse in clean, cool water until the water runs clear.
3. Press, never wring
   Lift the hijab out and gently press the water out against a clean towel. Never twist or wring the fabric.
4. Dry in the shade
   Lay flat or hang over a padded hanger to drip-dry. Keep away from direct sunlight to help protect the colour and fabric.
5. Machine wash with care
   If machine washing is necessary, place the hijab in a mesh bag and use the most delicate cycle with cool water.
6. Steam or iron on low
   For wrinkles, hold a steamer a few inches away from the fabric. If ironing, use the lowest setting with a thin cloth between the iron and the chiffon. Never place a hot iron directly on the fabric.
